I bought this for the Fall 2020 season and used it extensively all over Minnesota for grouse and pheasant. It has held up well, the orange water resistance is really nice, and the material is breathable and great for layering. To add, the hood is generous and the inside liner under all of the orange is very comfortable. My 2 gripes are, namely, the game pocket is horrible. Anything in there will fall out. I plan on either adding snaps or sewing on my own zipper. Second, it would be nice if there was a left zipper chest pocket to hold a phone or something - I've always liked those.
Been thinking about waxing the canvas portion of the hoodie - but unsure of it yet. Is it worth $80? Not to me...feels more like a $50-$60 hoodie. I do enjoy it - but probably wouldn't buy another when it wears out.
I have several other gamehide garments and all of them, like this one, doesn't disappoint. Fit and finish are great and fabric is very durable. Liked the shell pocket in front, made it easy to carry a whole box of shells.
I'm a huge hoodie fan. This one keeps you warm and has ample storage for everything you need.
