I own a fair amount of ElimiTick clothing, Pants, gloves, socks, hats, facemasks, Pretty much everything you can think of. There is a very good reason for it, The stuff works! Living in the Northeast , we ve come to realize , tick season never ends. I spends lots of time scouting for deer, in some nasty cover, swamps thickets, so Elimitick clothing is essential to staying safe. This spring, I made a critical mistake, I wanted to go check a game cam, and I just grabbed my backpack and headed out, I didnt have time to change, I wasnt going to be in the woods long anyways I told myself. So, I ran in the woods pretty quick, changed my SD Card, and went back to the truck.. 2 Days later, My girlfriend says, you ve got a Tick buried in your back,, how did that happen, you always wear your Elimitick.. Well, I told her I skipped it this last time out, I was in a rush. So a trip to the Drs office to dig it out, and then start on some Meds, as it had been there 48 hrs at least. I ve been hunting 30+ yrs,, first time in my life, I ve had a tick removed. Since Elimitick first came out, First time I didnt wear it, and it cost me BIGTIME.. Luckily the Lyme test came back Neg. Believe me I wont push my luck again. I ve made many trips back to the woods since, NONE without my Elimitick clothing. The long sleeve shirts, are comfortable, roomy, and they WORK at preventing ticks. Get yourself some Body Armor, You ll be glad you did. I ve ordered extra shirts and hoodies, so no excuse that its in the wash.
