We have developed a great looking, durable pheasant jacket that will take a beating in the field. Made from our ripstop cotton, the Shelterbelt Upland Hunting Jacket has great features! Large zippered front cargo pockets, deep front shell pockets with snap closures along with a full front zipper. The back it also trimmed in blaze orange with a blood-proof game bag that is detachable for easy cleaning. It also has two water bottle holders on each side of the rear garment.

Upland Jacket

I was looking for a lightweight jacket so I could layer underneath. This jacket fits that bill, had nice big pockets to carry my items in. I am a bit nervous to see if the stitching holds up. Would have prefer that they double stitched the seams, we'll have to see how that holds up.

The jacket has a good design & very good build quality. Pockets & shell holders are extremely secure & access to the game pocket is good.
The reason for the rating of 4 is that it is lined by a non vented/breathable liner & the sweat condenses making for a wet day. Make sure to not wear too much underneath & that your under layers are breathable.

Recently purchased for an annual trip to pheasant hunting. The jacket has a great fit. The adjustable velcro sleeves adapts well to different body types. Lots of storage for shells, gloves & any other miscellaneous items you want to carry. The material provides protection against brush. The game bag is very accessible for the hunter & the water bottle carriers are a great add!
