I bought this jacket to take on my waterfowl trip right after Thanksgiving. The jacket pattern precisely matches my waders, which was really awesome. I was hoping for a little more insulation for early season in my state can be pretty chilly. And when we got to our outfitters, we were greeted with sub-freezing temps and snow. Tried the jacket on the first morning, not a good choice. It's going to be an awesome early season jacket, but only if the temps stay above freezing.
The whole bundle deal was great. The price was incredible low, no other company would beat the bundle deal.
Just received it. It fits great, is comfortable, and rugged. The mossy oak shadow-grass blade color pattern is great for where I hunt. The fly away north patter would work great as well. It was tough choice on the patterns.
Got this jacket on sale super cheap, its really good especially for the price. I am 5'9" 185 and the large fits roomy enough for layers. (I wear a Medium in carhartt jackets and tried the Gamehide medium; it was too small) This isn't a super warm jacket, but it layers really well and makes a killer outer shell. Ive worn this in pouring rain on boat rides and layed out in muddy fields goose hunting in it and it is legitimately waterproof. Only down side is the cuffs; they do not close that tight for me on the large. Other than that really like it.
This is a great jacket that fits true to size. Was able to layer with a hooded sweatshirt and vest with plenty of room to move. Wore this on a late season duck hunt on Reelfoot Lake - appreciated the wind proof nature of the jacket as we rode out to the blind. Plenty of pockets to stash your gear. Great value compared to the “big name” jackets, very high quality!!
