All around, it’s a well made jacket with lots of necessary features. I bought a medium, which is my normal size for all clothing, and it fits well. The only adaptation I had to make was…. Since the jacket fits pretty snugly at the chest, right under the arms, (at least in my case), the use of layering clothing underneath is limited. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but at least in my case, I had to reduce the number of layers I usually wear and increase the warming capability of each layer. The only other improvement suggestion I have, would be to add an inside left chest pocket to accommodate a cell phone. Other than that, this jacket meets all my expectations!

Questionable liner choice
This jacket would deserve five stars if it wasn't for the liner being brown. Who makes a blaze orange jacket with a fuzzy BROWN liner? The whole point of blaze orange is to not look anything like a brown deer, yet if I don't have the hood up I am walking around with a brown patch on my back because the hood has a brown liner as well. Otherwise I like the jacket. It is warm, pretty waterproof, and quiet. The sleeves get a little tight at the ends, but it is manageable.
