I've worn these half a dozen times in September and October in the SE US. They work for ticks.
The problem is the hooks used to secure the straps bend out and come loose. I have had to bend them back to shape a few times.
It's the same thing as a fish hook that you have to bend back to shape.
If the hooks worked better I'd give five stars, but they're too important a part of overalls to not get right.
These clothes truly prevent ticks from biting you. I was very pessimistic when I first ordered them. However 5 years later I still swear by them. I have a pair at my farm and at my house I live at for yard work. I bought my son a pair. He loves them too. No more nasty bug spray. Plus no Lonestar disease.
Always wear it in the woods. No ticks
Super comfy.
Used the bibs, socks and 1/4 zip elimitick clothes today for the first time. Walked through some heavy woods, and tall grass. Not one tick. Seems to work well.
