The same great fabric as our long sleeve Tech Shirt now with a hood! The lightweight wicking fabric breathes great and the hood can be worn over or under a hat for added protection. Fit is slightly loose for added movement.
• The active ingredient is so tightly bonded to the fabric fibers that it retains effective repellency through the life of the product.
• Repels ticks, chiggers, mosquitoes, and midges (no-see-ums).
• Lasts through 70 washes.
• Invisible, odorless protection just by putting your clothes on.
Don't get me wrong the elimitick product works as it is intended, and is comfortable as all get out....here is the problem you are told your entire life don't wear white when you are turkey hunting and along come this shirt with a huge amount of white right by your head and neck region. I am referring to the inside of the hood, the only time I have worn this shirt the entire season rode in about 6 miles on a mountain bike in the dark and pretty much spent the rest of the day worrying about getting shot after taking this out of my vest and putting it on. Nothing I did except putting the hood on covered up the white fabric, and wearing a hood all day while hiking around like that is not realistic. With all of this said all of the other elimitick gear I have performed flawlessly, to the tune of never noticing a tick on me for the entire season, and I will continue to purchase and wear this stuff, just not with hoods.
Love these pants for working around my property during the summer months. I have used these ElimiTick pants extensively around my Vermont property where ticks are endemic, but haven't found any ticks on my legs yet. The material is light, comfortable and durable. My size was right between XL and 2X, so I tried the XL size first but they were a little snug, so I exchanged them for a 2X size which fit perfect. The exchange was prompt and seamless. I highly recommend these pants! I also have a full ElimiTick camo set for hunting - the ElimiTick treatment really works!
I have two sets. They work great. Also told friends about it, and they ordered some. Not one tick in 4 years.
I am on the fence about keeping these pants. The fabric seems durable and a good weight for warm-weather hunting. There is elastic in the back of the waistband, which is a good idea. Pockets are just right - enough room in the cargo pockets to carry essentials. The only thing I do not like is that the pants are very low cut; even with a belt, they do not fully cover my bum when I sit down. I can tuck in the long-sleeved shirt to keep things covered, but I am concerned I will be uncomfortable sitting in a position to hold my shotgun when turkey hunting with my pants positioned so low. They just need an inch or so more in the back and they would be perfect
This shirt would be just right if the sleeves were a bit longer. The fabric is slightly stretchy but I can still feel tightness across the shoulders due to the shorter sleeve length. I hesitate to go a size up because I feel that the shirt would be too large everywhere else. For reference, I am 5'6" and 140#.
