Warm but small

Hat seems warm and designed well. The underside of the bill is orange as well; it should be black to cut down on glare, especially for those with glasses. I can fix that with a sharpy. If your head is average size, be sure to order the XL; I think the sizes given are not accurate. I usually wear a 7-3/8 and the XL was not too large. Looking forward to wearing it in the woods and using it for many years.

Sized too small

Nice hat but seems a bit on the small side. Also the ear flaps are way too short.

Good Hat

Good hat for hunting, warm, waterproof and keeps the ears warm, without sacrificing hearing like a mad bomber hat. Unfortunately the XL didn’t fit my big head and the company doesn’t offer a 2XL in stock. So I’ll just keep using my other hats. If the XL fits you, you can’t go wrong with this hat. It’s warm, versatile (ear flaps up or down), has a sun visor, good for the rain and wet snow, visible to others and the break up camo orange is great for those hard to reach deer. Deer can’t make out the pattern and get really close to me. Unless I’m standing out in the open, they get really close. I’m talking feet, not yards. So the hat does its job.
