Will need to wait till Nov to actually try out the vest, but it appears to be just what I was looking for. Something medium weight I can wear over a wool shirt when the temp in the woods is in the mid to low 30’s. Enough pockets to keep the essential. The lined pockets are a plus. Plus it’s blaze orange to help with visibility in the VT woods. Giving it 4 stars for now and will update later this year.

Excellent vest and love the kangaroo pocket. Takes getting used to zipping it but is excellent

Just got back from a successful backpack mule deer hunt. The vest worked perfectly! I love the hand warmer pocket as well as all of the other secured gear storage pockets and compartments. The cartridge pockets do in fact work for my .308 rounds and the flashlight pocket works for a grunt call. The side zipper gets some getting used to but works.
