Backwater Wader Jacket is insulated with Primaloft which means it is warm and light weight. However, being designed as a wader jacket, it is short and comes to about by belt. For weather below freezing it is probably desirable to wear bibs or a longer garment under it. The jacket is waterproof, comes with an adequate hood, and has eight pockets. Four pockets have zippers and four do not. Overall the jacket appears to perform as advertised.
